Assessing Social Capital Indicators in Public Spaces in Central streets of the City of Sanandaj, Iran

The social capital concept has been proposed alongside other capitals such as human capital, financial and economic capital. aim of this research was to evaluate the in streets, which are among most dynamic urban public spaces. They provide physical connections for interactions consequently can enhance To aim, four central crossroads city Sanandaj, Iran were selected a case study. This study is descriptive analysis conducted by questioning 400 participants. collected data analyzed using SPSS (Statistical Package Social Sciences) software at inferential statistical levels. findings showed that effective elements streets improve include promotion environmental qualities mixed land use related trust, feeling belonging, identity place norms, face-to-face relationships, participation networks.
